What's a service like? We worship using many of the orders of worship commonly used in the Luther Church-Missouri Synod. The service is traditional in form though on the third Sunday of each month there is usually more contemporary music sung which is led by a praise team.
What's the music like? Music is normally played on the organ except when the contemporary service is conducted.
How people dress? Clothing varies from dresses and suits to whatever is comfortable, including jeans.
What about my kids? We welcome children into worship as we are all part of one family. There is a nursery when needed for parents who might be having difficulty with their children.
Can I take communion? The easiest answer is check with the pastor by phone or in person prior to the service. We believe in the real presence of Christ's body and blood in, with, and under the bread and wine. We believe in the Triune God and that we are saved by grace through faith in the attoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sins. Those who commune are aware of their sinfulness and need for forgiveness and that salvation is found only in Christ.
Where do I park? Parking is available in our lot north of the church on Wall Street as well as on th the street. There are handicap parking spots and ramp entrance on 29th Street on the south side of the church building.
